this place is one of my favorite! the food is amazing & it’s a very friendly and quick service. i love the refillable side dishes and that’s one of the main reasons why i come back everytime. recently discovered the fish roe bibimbap & i’ve always taken it since ! crunchy from the fish roe and the crispy rice from the hot stone
Easily my favorite KBBQ spot. Daldongnae is always such a great experience. The food is consistently amazing every single time. The quality never misses, and everything is super tasty. Whether you're going with friends or just craving good food, this place never disappoints.
FOOD WAS SOOO GOOD. Came with a group of 3 and did 4 orders of different kinds of meat! Super filling, didn't have to really wait in line (came around 7pm w/ no reservation). I appreciate and love the complimentary sides!!! Also atmosphere vibes are cool. Side note, my phone was dead and they were so kind to charge it
Same consistent quality of food including all the Banchan and all the cuts of meats. The decor is also very similar with makes your experience consistent. We had dinner on Sunday evening. There was very little wait. Parking can be a bit tricky you need to find street parking near by. There are a couple commercial parking lots with a couple blocks. I took a point off from service as the servers weren’t as attentive as elsewhere. We have been to the other one in Montreal, the one in Ottawa and just about everyone in Toronto. We always had very efficient and attentive services. The servers we interacted here were perfectly friendly. They just didn’t check on us. We had to wave someone down if needed something. If you feel like Korean bbq and happen to be in the neighborhood you can’t go wrong with this Daldongnae.
You get so much for a really great price. The cheese sweet corn is incredible. The meat was tender, the flavours are great
This place was amazing! The food was great, along with the service and atmosphere. I’d recommend getting a reservation, we were quickly seated while the place was getting pretty busy around dinner time. Definitely check this place out if you’re ever in the area.
Tasty flavor combinations around a hot grill. Pick a meat, order a kimchi pancake, and enjoy all the interesting mini-side dishes as you sizzle. Get a beer. High energy spot (not quiet). Our servers were wonderful.
Daldongnae is authentic and delicious! My friend and I ordered 4 portions of beef, yea we’re pigs. Beefs are well marinated, tender and of amazing quality. The side dishes are included and can be refilled. This is a fresh change from AYCE kbbq. The atmosphere felt like a small korean town. Service was super fast!
